Gary & Karen Cooper are farmers in Northwest Indiana. They have nine daughters ranging in age from 25 to 7 years old. Their girls have grown up doing their share on the farm that has been in the Cooper family for over 100 years. Their son-in-law is also a part of the farming operation.
Southern Gospel music has been a big part of the Coopers' life. Their family outings usually include a concert. Most of the time, their family vacation is planned around a Southern Gospel event like the Mark Trammell Quartet's Homecoming in Gadsden, Alabama; the Whisnant's Homecoming in Morganton, North Carolina; or the Singing at Sea cruise.
The Coopers like to do things BIG...from their big family to their big dogs. They have an English Mastiff named Elly Mae and a Great Dane named Murphy. Murphy has unofficially become the mascot for the Coopers & Candlestick Promotions. It's a pretty sure thing that after a group has been to the Coopers', Murphy's picture will show up on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
It is Gary & Karen's desire to be a light in their community, that through the concerts that they promote in their area the Gospel will be spread through their community and many would come to know Christ as their Savior. (Matthew 5:15-16)
